In an ideal world, teacher trainees would emerge from their undergraduate courses with a thorough working knowledge of the use in the classroom of all sorts of multimedia technology. As we don't live in an ideal world, it is incumbent upon teachers to seek effective professional development training in multimedia to guarantee effective implementation of these vital teaching resources.
If teachers are to actively pursue improvement in the utilization of multimedia, there are factors that need to be addressed to ensure best practice in the classroom :
